Weed Control and Fertilization Program
Our weed control and fertilization program was designed to give our clients the healthiest lawn possible. This is achieved by regular routine maintenance as laid out in the 7 applications listed below. We use the highest quality products and fertilizer to generate and maintain a weed free lawn with strong and deep roots.
Application 1 – Pre Spring (Jan / Feb)
Pre Emergent & Post Emergent - This application prevents and controls early season crabgrass, broadleaf, and grassy weeds.
Application 2 - Early Spring (March / April)
Pre Emergent & Post Emergent - This application extends the life of the pre emergent and will continue to prevent and control broadleaf, crabgrass, and grassy weeds.
Application 3 - Spring (April / May)
Fertilizer & Spot Weed Control - A high nitrogen fertilizer to jump start your lawn growth. We use the highest quality of granular fertilizer to promote a greener and healthier lawn. If needed, any signs of weeds will be spot treated.
Application 4 - Early Summer (June)
Fertilizer & Spot Weed Control - This application includes a balanced time released Granular Fertilizer to encourage a thick and healthy green lawn. If needed, any signs of weeds will be spot treated.
Application 5 - Summer (July)
Fertilizer & Spot Weed Control - This application includes a time released Granular Fertilizer to continue giving your lawn a thick and lusciously green appearance. If needed, any signs of weeds will be spot treated.
Application 6 - Late Summer (Aug/Sep)
Fertilizer & Spot Weed Control – This application is a slow-release granular winterizing fertilizer to promote deep root development to prepare your lawn for the dormant months. If needed, any signs of weeds will be spot treated.
Application 7 - Fall (Oct - Dec)
Pre Emergent & Post Emergent- This is the last application of the year to prevent and control winter annual weeds from germination.
